Anxiety is a natural response to stress, everyone will experience it some point in their life. For most people it will come and go unnoticed, for others Anxiety has the ability to become all enveloping, affecting their everyday life in every way imaginable. Over 10% of the population is taking anti depressants, and 25% will experience a depressive/anxious episode in their lifetime. Anxiety is very common, but still considered taboo to discuss in Western culture. People are ashamed to tell others of their own internal challenges for fear of being judged, or worse they have already shared with friends and family but nobody can relate, alienating them to fend for themselves, or even telling them to “just get over it.”

I would often go online to try and figure out what was happening to me and could never find any clear answers, or the information I found would amplify my anxiety! To be honest, unless all of these “professionals” have experienced intense and prolonged anxiety they don’t know anything, they haven’t been through it, and they can’t relate. This is why I decided to compile information over the past several years to better assist others in avoiding the mishaps I made. Anxiety and Anxiety related manifestations are very manageable, I know it may not feel like it right now, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel! Anxiety is actually a great opportunity that will enable you to become a better version of yourself!
